Went out after work yesterday and had one of the best days ever, a couple short of my quantity record/day but they were almost all decent bulls adding up to a lot of pointy pounds to be carried back to the truck. Thankfully it was all down hill as I didn't have a frame pack and my little day pack isn't made for this kind of load. 19 fresh (only 2 match up) and 2 from last year but were just too nice to leave up there.

Here is the YTD pile - the part on top of the table maybe 140 fresh deer and around 50-60 fresh elk and elk is just getting started.

It has been mentioned at the dinner table that I should stop or sell- guess which option I favor?? It is getting hard to do anything in the shop, anything I want to do I have to move a pile of horns first. And it all started when I wanted some rattling horns and didn't want to pay for them...

That is absolutely incredible. I bet I have only found a few spike sheds in the past ten years. I can't imagine the gold mine you have sitting in your shed if you were to start selling. One might think about making some shed chandeliers. Nice work.

He is working from out-of -date -info. I don't get PAID but I do go to work. (at a place I euphemistically call the "hen pen") I'ld be happy to sell you a house and I guarantee it is worth at least 20% of what you'll pay to get it!! I also GUARANTEE it can double in value in less than ten years. I got that line out of an annuity brochure the other day. Tell Charlie hi and watch his mail the jerky will be sent soon, I'm down to the last 2 trays in the dryer.

Spaight... WTF you want me to turn them loose ?? Never heard of catch and release horn hunting. Or maybe re-distribute them to less capable horn hunters?? None to P-goose tho as he found a big set in my honey hole only 10 years ago and I still hold a grudge. bangin
